Betsey Olson

Hello, St. Stephen’s Catholic Community. My name is Betsey Olson, and I am so excited to join your community as a 4th-grade teacher. I graduated this past Spring (2025) from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire with a Bachelor's in Elementary Education. This will be my first year teaching, and I feel so blessed to be joining what has already been such a welcoming learning environment. Although this is my first year of teaching my own classroom, I bring 5+ years of experience as an Education Assistant through District 281, as well as the many opportunities I received through student teaching in Wisconsin. I am thrilled to put my passion for education to use by helping students thrive and grow. 

When I am not in the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I have two brothers (one who is my twin) that I love to adventure with. I love a good book, I love traveling, and I love going to my cabin in the summer. I am looking forward to getting to know what my students love to do when they are not in the classroom.
